Amrita Strip Heaters are nickel chromium 80/20 heating element that is insulated
into either mica or ceramic or high temperature cement assembly of the
strip heater is capable of providing uniform heat transfer to the
flat surfaces. The strip heater is used in various applications
like heating up plates, tanks or drawing holes of extruders. They
can be flat, 90° or U bent and can be fitted with mounting holes
or slots to adapt all complex shapes. It can be fitted with
mild steel coating sheet, brass or stainless steel sheathes to be
protected against mechanical hazards and to ensure a good heat distribution.
It can also be clamped to a solid surface for moisture protection,
food warming and other various applications.

Heaters is used in numerous applications like plastic processing machineries,
injection and blow molding, molds & dies
and extruders.
II. Mineral Flat & Frame Heaters:
Amrita Mineral Flat and Frame heaters lasts long even at high temperature
and watt density. They are trouble free and are designed to replace the
use of Mica Strip Heaters. A tube filled with MgO has a helically wound
coil inside it and it is pressed to form a flat surface. The mineral
flat and frame heaters are used in numerous applications like tank heating,
plastic processing machineries, bag cutting & sealing machine and
in melting zinc & lead.
